Yes. GLP-1 medications can significantly reduce appetite, which can make it more challenging to eat enough protein, fiber, fluids, and other nutrient-dense foods. Nutrition Coaching can help you prioritize the foods and habits that support adequate nutrition, muscle retention, training, recovery, and long-term health while your appetite is lower. We can provide general nutrition and behavior-change support alongside your medical care. We do not prescribe, adjust, or manage GLP-1 medications or provide medical nutrition therapy. Questions about medication dosing, side effects, or treatment should be addressed with your prescribing healthcare provider.
We use the Hume Body Pod to track weight and body-composition trends over time. We selected it because its body-composition estimates have compared closely with DEXA measurements in available testing. While no at-home body-composition device is as precise as DEXA, using the same device consistently gives us a useful way to monitor changes and progress over time.

The program focuses on individualized nutrition guidance, education, and behavior change rather than prescribed meal plans or rigid daily menus. Nikki can help you make practical food choices, build balanced meals, and establish nutrition targets that fit your goals and lifestyle.
Weekly check-ins are generally asynchronous. You’ll provide a brief update on your progress, challenges, and priorities, and Nikki will review it and provide feedback and guidance for the week ahead. Live conversations can be scheduled when needed.
You’ll meet with Nikki for approximately 30 minutes to review your progress, body-composition trends, nutrition and lifestyle habits, current challenges, and any adjustments that may be helpful.
Meaningful, sustainable change takes time. We recommend an initial three-month coaching period so you have enough time to build new habits, put them into practice, and make adjustments based on your progress. After that, you can continue month to month if ongoing coaching would be helpful.

Nutrition Coaching is not only for people who feel their diet is “bad.” It can also help you refine protein intake, fueling, meal timing, recovery, body-composition strategies, or other areas where relatively small changes may support your goals.
